Each glowing point is a real Vogon DQLDB epoch, hash-distributed above one of the 122 country pedestals on the floor. Vertical position is time: older epochs sit near the floor, newer epochs sit near the ceiling. The horizontal probe plane is a time scrubber: as it sweeps, points within its band glow cyan. New epochs polled hourly slot in at the top of their country column with a fresh-arrival pulse.
